I'm still working on my animation project. It took some doing, but I finally got the sketch part of a segment done. So it took me about a week to do. So I'm guessing I can get a lot done this month, but I'm not sure how long it'll be exactly, animating isn't what I usually make. I know there's no time frame here, but I like to gague my efficiency and let people know. I am feeling fairly excited to get this done though! It's going to be my biggest project yet. Thanks VinityAryimin for the nice comment that made me wanna do this :)

I dunno how to share unfinished stuff in a way that doesn't spam my main gallery, otherwise I wouldn't have a problem just showing it every so often. Let's just say I'm working on animation again because I like it! I like all forms of art tbh, I just prefer drawing the way I do cause that's my comfort area personally.

That said, uhh... I got the sketch portion mostly out of the way when it comes to the opening. And unlike my other animations, it's not a gif or slideshow, it's going to be a full video clip. Most likely won't be very long, it's both an introduction to an upcoming character along with practicing expressions and transitions, all in a fun and fairly unique way hopefully if this project turns out the way I imagine.

I pulled a muscle on both arms, and finally realized after a while I probably shouldn't be doing anything for a while with them. So, I've been taking it easy. They're feeling better, but I'll need to wait a little longer just to be sure. I'm feeling pretty confident I can get back to doing something starting next week though. I figured at first, I'd do another comic. But lately, I'm thinking of breaking the monotony this time around and make a little animation this week. I'm thinking I'm gunna draw an entrance for each character in my stories so far both for practice and illustration.

Alright, now that I got my last update out of the way. I'm excited to get back to the next Renegade Blue comic page, and all. But now, I'm thinking about trying something I haven't done in a while and draw something animated instead next month :D It's been a while since I did that. I'm thinking since it wasn't as big a deal as I thought with my last comic page, I don't mind sticking to monthly pages. And by that, I mean have a page done by the end of the month.

I'd love to jump right back in, but I might have to take a break for a bit because for whatever reason, I must have pulled a muscle or something, and badly too. Because for whatever reason, it's been a pain to even move my arm, and it's my drawing arm too which sucks, and it's been like that for a few days, pops kinda easily too, even though I have full range of motion to it. It uh... it sucks lol. That said, it feels ok when I'm not doing anything with it, so I think that's what's best for it right now. If it continues to the point of hindering me, I'll be sure to let folks know. But hopefully, it should feel better by next month tops. In the meantime, I'll get back in touch with everyone else, see what everyone's been up to with their art :) Can't wait to see what you got.

I kinda hesitate to say it because I'm never going to not draw and make comics and what not anyway, and I'm not super confident about it most of the time. But, my family suggested I should share my patreon anyway, and I feel I've been improving enough, I can at least throw this out there at least once. Don't feel you have to though. Right now, I'm not planning to do anything there I'm not already doing here. That said though, I was thinking about updating it anyway cause it could use some work. So, why not?

I'm also planning to eventually do more than just comics, but that's going to take some time and money, not to mention finding a schedule between my love of art and my life, you know how it is. After updating my profile pic, I just had to spend the extra time to fix that banner, it was bugging me for so long! To clarify, the web browser version, you could hardly see all of it lol. I can see though the mobile version, you can see the super imposed yellow borders, but it's fine cause it still works. I spent a long time on that cute little creature, it deserves to be better seen. Finally getting somewhere :) Feeling good. Now, I am going to go pass out cause it's really late. Have a good one!

Also, I didn't notice this before, maybe cause I'm tired, and my weird self sees stuff like this when I'm in that state, but I made my avatar's hair to kinda look like that creature on my banner lol (It's a cherry dragon, it shows up in my comics from time to time cause it's my favorite thing I ever created lol.) I didn't intend to do that. But whatever, I dig it now lol.

It's looking pretty good! I have most of it taken care of. Actually, I have like one more panel left before it's done. After that, I'll try to refine each panel a little before I can call them done. I like the art from everyone else I'm looking at! It makes my day a little seeing the creativeness people have :) Alright, I didn't have much else to add than it's going well and should be done soon. I'll send them out by the end of the month for sure. Oh yeah, this month it'll be about 7 panels, cause I think that sets up the scenario best. Alright, have a good one :)

I had a few snags last week, but I'm on my 4th panel including the one I shared for a sneak peak. I think I'm going to make a few adjustments to it later too. Sometimes I like the idea of going back and redoing all my old comic pages (Especially since I was still trying to find my flow as well as what style I wanted to stick to, I get embarrassed looking at them lol.) But if I did that, then it just would take away from the progress I made as an artist, so nah. Besides, it would take forever to catch up by now, and I have LONG way to go with my drama comic Chaos Persona. Not sure if it's a spoiler, but I'm thinking the next few panels will be a little more on the fun side just to break the ice cause last we left off, it's getting kinda tense lol.

Alright, well that's about all I had to say. I kinda keep busy, so I don't get a lot of chances to look at my feed. But from what I see when I come back, they're really awesome art pieces! Keep it up folks, I like what you all put out :) Have a good one.

For anyone that doesn't know, I plan my projects kind of at random, but I like to have something to show for it when I do. Currently, my plans are to go back to sharing my comics at a full page worth which usually takes a month to produce.

Before, I was making cat comics, then I was redoing what I consider was my first comic which was a dumb throwaway idea about the laziest superhero ever called Lazyman (I was in kindergarten when I made that up, take it up with him lol.) Then there was my main comic series I wanted to focus on called Chaos Persona.

It's kind of obvious, I dropped 2 of my comics so I could focus on Chaos Persona, but then added another comic I felt like working on since High School (Yeah, I'm kinda old. Like 38, so that was 2002? 2003? So this was a comic that took a backseat for about 23 years lol.)

It's kinda obvious by now, I only chose recent times to try to put my art skills to the test, and really try to breathe life into my old projects. As far as my recent comic goes called Renegade Blue, I never really had a structured plot to it? So a fun thought crossed my mind. While I refuse to let any of my comics have zero plot, this one being no exception, there's gunna be a lot of crazy stuff happening on it. And a big reason for that, is because I want it to be my dumping ground for all my thought out, but ultimately dropped ideas. So think excel saga, but with a plot, and probably less meta humor. Also if you never seen excel saga, it's hilarious, you should check it out.

As for Chaos Persona, the only thing I can think to add is I wish I could have put up the written version first. Not that the comic follows the original version, and there's a reason for that lol, but it is what it is.

Also, right now, as of this entry, it's Chaos Persona this month, more Renegade Blue next month, CP again after and so on like that, just so everything is moving forward essentially.

That's about as much in my head I can put into words, other than I seriously can't wait for my replacement pen to come by. But yeah, I just thought it might be nice to share my inner thoughts with everyone. Thanks for reading this far, it's quite the journal entry lol. I lost my pen somehow...I ordered a replacement, but it'll be a bit before it gets here. I already stated I'm going to go back to monthly pages, see how that goes. But that's not the funnest way to get started. It's a good thing I had that first panel already done on the tail end of last month.
